A Report on Potential Intelligence & E-Commerce Use

The Zeitgeist Club is a major concert venue which provides a wide-range of entertainment including concerts, discos, dance classes and private functions. The club has an extensive bar and food facility and provides merchandising to promote the Club, the DJs and the Bands which play there. Having spent the first week talking to staff, customers and suppliers, 19 major problems have been identified. Besides these major problems, the staff of the Club had a few helpful comments and concerns to make that indicate the desired nature of solutions that are expected and may be involved. These comments also brought to light the possible nature of future business developments the Club might be involved in.
The creative use of e-commerce and intelligence technologies can enable radical change in this organisation. Using some of the currently available technologies, I have drawn up a list of proposed solutions. I have also attempted to address the concerns expressed by the Club's staff.
In order to further clarify the network design proposed, I have drawn up a model network architecture that could be used to implement the recommendations I have made.
In addition, a list of sites that may prove useful in terms of providing informative material to the management of the Zeitgeist Club has been included. These links include sites that provide the same service as Zeitgeist as well as sites that provide information and/or technologies that are proposed as solutions to the problems being faced by the Club.
